The ground-breaking Centre for Doctoral Training in Energy Storage and its Applications at the Universities of Sheffield and Southampton opened in October 2014, funded by the EPSRC, to tackle industrial challenges and develop new technologies and skills that will enable the UK to meet its low carbon targets.

4th Annual Conference in Energy Storage & Its Applications

Our 4th Annual Conference, in 2019, will be held at the Boldrewood Innovation Campus at the University of Southampton on 9th and 10th July. We will have industrial and research presentations on all aspects of energy storage. Sessions include;

  • Transportation & EVs

  • Heat & Seasonal Storage

  • Grid Storage

  • Electrochemistry & Materials for storage

  • Energy Systems & Modelling Storage

  • Socio Politico Economic Aspects of Storage
